Cindy Vaughan VandeVoort grew up in Port Arthur, Texas, the oldest of four girls.  With a Godly mother, Cindy's love for God and church began at a very young age.

She accepted the Lord as her Savior at the age of six at a neighborhood VBS. When she was seven, her life was forever changed when she was introduced to the world of music, specifically, the piano. Cindy recalls a happy childhood of memories. After teaching elementary school for many years and homeschooling her two daughters, Cindy now teaches private piano lessons. She enjoys travel, old movies, puzzles, board games and '70s music. Besides her passion for the piano, Cindy is also passionate about grief support. This calling came after the untimely death of her husband, Brad, in 1994.

Cindy is always grateful for opportunities to brag on God's faithfulness, provision and direction in her life. Her life verse is Psalms 37:4.
